Into The Jaws Of Hell

Image result for lanzarote volcano

Jeremy here, and yes, its’s official today we go into the jaws of hell….that means Lanzerote’s live volcano. Sounds dramatic…and maybe after the catastrophe that happened in New Zealand recently it’s a little foolish. But we’ve booked our tickets and we’re going.
If you haven’t been before Lanzerote is a highly volcanic island and the landscape often looks like the surface of the moon with big hills, craters and debris everywhere, but very little in the way of soil and vegetation.
Last year we went to Tenerife and it was much greener and more hospitable with quite a lot more history and actual Spanish people.
As a Spanish speaker it always annoys me that so often I start talking Spanish in the shops and they answer me back in English…maybe the white skin is a giveaway!
Having said that The hotel is great; it’s got a heated pool, a chocolate fountain at dinner time, and genuine honey from the comb at breakfast time. And a great pool area with entertainment.
Well if you’re into holiday reading, or a book to kickstart the new year I’m going to shamelessly plug “Rich Dad Poor Dad” again. It has made such a difference to my life and surely will help you too; as long as you take the trouble to read it!
Here is a quote I love:
“The single most powerful asset we all have is our mind. If it is trained well, it can create enormous wealth in what seems to be an instant.”
― Robert T. Kiyosaki, Rich Dad, Poor Dad
And here is a link to buy the book on Amazonè Click Here
Well that quote is certainly something to think about for the New Year.
Well as long as I survive my near death experience I’ll be speaking to you again soon,
Take care
Jeremy
